Note: The passport PCC is only for use abroad, for example study, a job or citizenship. For a PCC to use inside India, apply on the Kerala Police Thuna website. We can help you with Thuna too.
Documents to keep ready

New passport (adult):
- Aadhaar card (address proof)
- Proof of date of birth: birth certificate, SSLC book, PAN card, driving licence or voter ID
- SSLC or higher pass certificate (for non-ECR)
Child born on or after 1 October 2023: birth certificate only.
Renewal or re-issue:
- Old passport (original) with copies of the first two and last two pages
- Aadhaar card
PCC:
- Passport (original) with copies of the first two and last two pages
- PAN card
- Address proof, only if your address is different from the passport
Bring the originals and one self-attested copy of each.

Passport FAQs
How long does a passport take?
At the Cochin Passport Office, a normal passport now usually comes within about 1 week after your appointment. Tatkal usually comes within about 3 days. In some cases it can take longer.
Can I get a PCC for a job in Kerala here?
The passport PCC is only for use abroad. For use in India, apply on the Kerala Police Thuna website. We can help you with it.
Do I need to visit your centre?
You can start on WhatsApp from anywhere. For the Passport Seva Kendra visit, ask us first. We will tell you what to bring.
What are your service charges?
Our service charge is separate from the government passport fee. WhatsApp us and we’ll tell you the current charges for your application.
Government fee is paid separately as per the passport portal.
